Furnarture
This Table was once a drop
leaf dining table. I cut the
legs down and painted it for
use as a coffee table. Great
for family games and puzzles.
Here you see a
chest of drawers
with a distressed
finish.
I painted this secretary desk with
a blue milk paint undercoat,
followed by cream milk paint, then
distressed, antiqued and hand
waxed.
This old table was revived and
painted to bring a little sunshine
into the lives of this family of
five. Mom's favorite flower is the
sunflower.
Just one of the many tables
that I have given new life to.
This toy box was
painted for a young boy
who had a passion for
all things hockey.
This toy box was painted
for little girl who loved
fairies.

This set was painted for
a little girl to coordinate
with her bedding. She
loved horses so I painted
a carousel horse on the
bedside table. Every
surface of this set was
painted  with a design
element.
These are two chairs that
were custom done for a little
girl and a little boy.
A rooster stool to coordinate
with the decor of the room.
These chairs were
painted to match
the stripes in the
sofa fabric, in a
family's busy play
room.
These Children's
Tables & Chairs were
painted to inspire
creativity
with color and pattern.
Here are some examples of
pieces painted for my
clients.  Each one painted to
match the surrounding decor
and add just a bit of
whimsy.
I made a stencil to fit
the shape of this
table.  The inspiration
for this table came
from the border of a
china plate.
The Painted Lady
I picked this table
up at a flee market
and gave it a fresh
new look.
This site is dedicated
to all my family and
friends who, over the
years have given me
such wonderful
support. Who continue
to be my inspiration.
To my friend
Hercules who's love
and support continues
to inspire and
motivate me to grow
as an artist and a
person. I thank you!
Above all to God above
me, who guides me and
watches over me in all
that I do, I Thank You!
God Bless!
When painting a piece
of furniture it is
important to think of
it's end use when
determining what
products to use.  I
try to use water
based, earth friendly,
milk paint, latex and
acrylics.  Most of my
projects are sealed
using a hand waxed
finish. I use this
technique to give each
piece a truly  heirloom
quality.  The only
exception is
sometimes children's
furniture, which can
undergo quite a bit of
abuse. On such
occasions  I still use
water based
products.  I have even
been known to use
both techniques on
the same piece. It
truly depends on the
project.
